He created a PAC for conservative Senate candidates called the Senate Conservative Fund to counter the Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee. The RSCC is known to have backed some less than conservative candidates in the past. But Jim Demint’s new PAC openly endorses and supports conservative candidates in Republican primaries including the recent election in Massachusetts of Scott Brown.
